## Requests and responses

* Authenticate with a secret key: `Authorization: Bearer sk_test_...`. The two payment method session
  endpoints Payra Elements calls also take a publishable key with the session's `client_secret`. See
  [Authentication](/authentication).
* Send and receive JSON. Every object the API returns carries an `object` field naming its type; an error
  answers `{ "error": { … } }`.
* Errors share one format. See [Errors](/errors).
* Every API response carries a `Request-Id` header. Include it when you contact support.
